Withcott sits at the foot of the Toowoomba Range about 10km east of the city, on the Toowoomba Connection Road, and it has roughly doubled in size — about 1,000 people in 2006 and over 2,000 by 2021. That growth means a lot of newer homes alongside the older town, spread over about 30 square kilometres.
