The part of the house you can't see
A gutter is only doing its job while water can move through it. Once leaf litter packs down, the water has to go somewhere else, and on a Toowoomba house it usually goes into the eaves.
Overflow behind the fascia. Water backs up under the roof sheeting, soaks the fascia and soffit timber, and runs down inside the wall cavity. Rotted fascia is the most expensive consequence by a distance, and it stays invisible until the paint starts lifting.
Concentrated runoff at the footings. Instead of being carried clear by the downpipe, a season of roof water dumps in one spot against the slab. On Toowoomba's reactive clay soils, that is exactly where you do not want it going.
A packed gutter is also an ember trap in fire weather and a mosquito nursery through a wet summer. Neither is hypothetical on an acreage block around the edge of town.

That matters more than it sounds. The alternative is coordinating a roof washer, a gutter contractor and a window cleaner around each other's schedules, and being the one who has to chase all three when one does not turn up.

Gutter guard genuinely reduces how often you need us. On a Toowoomba house under gums it can be the difference between twice a year and once. What it is not is maintenance-free, and anyone who told you otherwise was selling it.
What guard does not stop is fine debris, pollen and gum bark building up on top of the mesh. A guard that has silted over sheds water straight off the roof edge, which is arguably worse than no guard at all, because you have stopped checking.

Yes. Debris is bagged and removed from site. We do not tip your gutter contents onto your garden beds or leave a pile beside the bin, which is worth asking any operator before they start.
Every job comes back with photos of each run, before and after. You are paying someone to work on the one part of your house you cannot see, so the photos are not an extra, they are the deliverable. Property managers and strata committees get the same set attached to the invoice.
Gutter work is height work, and it is where exterior cleaning injuries actually happen.
